About Me
I am currently a junior at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. I am studying Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Communication Studies. Through my Mass Communications degree I’ve gotten experience with AP style news writing, exposure to Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, and taken several courses that have used PRSA’s model of RPIE, such as Public Relations Workshop: Community Relations. My minor in Communication Studies has furthered not only my technical skills (by exposing me to Adobe InDesign and website construction), but my interpersonal skills as well. I’ve had the opportunity to work with real-world clients in both programs, and have developed a passion for the nonprofit industry and an interest in social media, fundraising, media relations and community relations.
Activities & Extracurriculars
Student life is one of my favorite things about Bloomsburg. I spend a great deal of time with various student clubs and organizations on campus, as they are where I’ve met some of my best friends and they help me learn immensely outside of the classroom.

BUnow is the student-run online news platform on campus. I currently serve as a Public Relations Director, in which I help plan fundraisers, tabling events, and promotional materials.

Colleges Against Cancer
Every year, Colleges Against Cancer plans and runs our on-campus Relay for Life as well as smaller scale fundraisers and activities. As Social Media Chair, I use visual and written communication to spread awareness about what we do.

PRSSA
PRSSA stands for Public Relations Student Society of America, which is directly connected to PRSA, the division for working professionals. I currently serve as Vice President, where I help conduct general meetings and work recruitment events.
